Why Choose Mr C's Tutoring Hub?
At Mr C’s Tutoring Hub, I help children build confidence, master maths, and achieve success in a fun and supportive setting.
With 15+ years as a primary school teacher, including 10+ years teaching Year 6 and 10+ years as Maths Subject Leader, I understand what it takes to build confidence and success in maths—especially in preparation for SATs and high school transition.
With a National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership (NPQSL) and another in Leading Behaviour and Culture (NPQLBC) I create a positive, structured learning environment where your child can grow in confidence and succeed in maths.
I achieve above national average SATs results regardless of the varying abilities of the class.

About Me
Hi, I’m Mr C — married, with two wonderful children (a boy and a girl) who keep me on my toes and remind me every day how children learn and grow so differently.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me at parkrun on a Saturday morning — I’ve completed over 410 runs so far and love the community feel of it.
I also enjoy reading (mostly non-fiction these days) and relaxing with a Cherry Pepsi in hand!
As a tutor, I aim to make learning fun, structured, and confidence-building. I understand the ups and downs of school life from both a teacher’s and a parent’s perspective, which helps me connect with children and help them thrive.
